Week two
This past week we spent Monday-Friday at camp with a group of 36. Overall the week went well. It was a joy to be apart of the work. The theme was "Covenant" and the group shared messages on Noah, Abraham, Moses, and the New Covenant. There were many memories made through the sports and teambuilding competitions, rock climbing, and hiking. Pam prepared many delicious meals. We enjoyed singing around the campfire and fellowship together between the activities.
Now we are back in Peja for a few days. Pam lead girls at her cooking club this morning. I plan to rest some today and go to visit an historical monastery with our two short-termers and then attend a party. Tomorrow we plan to visit children in a village and have our Sunday evening fellowship. Monday-Wednesday we have some days to prepare for a group of short-terms from FL and for our "Girl's Week" women's retreat here. We may also go up to camp and work on pouring cement for a well house for camp. The Lrd willing, a week from Monday we will have several days of girl's activities and B/ble stories/discussions at our center and then two days at camp.
It is blessing to have a few days to recover after some very full days up at camp.
