Pouring Cement
This week on Monday we poured cement up at camp. If you come to camp and hang out there long enough you will hear a lot about pouring and perhaps even be recruited to help pour while you're there. Pouring cement takes a lot of gravel, water, bags of cement. Each bag of cement produces about 4-5 wheel barrel loads of cement, which we roll up our ramp and pour or shovel into the appropriate place. This week we worked on forming and pouring the first flight of steps and first landing to the future third floor of the "Blessing House." One day this "house" will be used for housing for staff and bunks for campers. It has been in a work in progress for three years now, shovel full by shovel full and with His grace, it is coming along.
