Work, People, and Hiking
This week started with learning how to build a wall
We had two groups here and helped them learn to climb!
Wednesday Jenelle, Andy, and I set out for the 2nd highest point in this country at about 8,212 ft!
After 5.5 hours we made it to the top! The views were breath-taking as we could see into two other countries!
After leaving at 6:30am, we got back to camp around 4pm. It was a great day!
The next day it was back to laying bricks. 1. First butter it up!
2. Then smooth it out
3. Put the brick in place
4. Make sure it's leveled
5. Use the hammer for any adjustments
At the end of the week we took our second group of campers up to the small and big lakes.
The "big lake" (at least it had water in it, not like the "small lake" in the previous picture :o)

Wow ! Sounds like a fun day climbing ! Is that the "Blessing House" you are building?
Love, Mom
The hiking pictures looked really neat! I especially like the one that looks like you're touching the top of the mountain. :) Very cleverly staged!
Thanks for posting periodic updates! It helps to know what you're up to, and get to see some of the people you work with.
Hi Mom!
Yes, it is the "Blessing House!" It's the only permanent building up at camp here so far. . .although there are several plans and projects started.
Anna, thanks :o) Actually, it was my teammate Jenelle's idea. It was pretty clever. Glad you enjoy the updates, it's fun to share what's going on here.
Love,
Lydia
